Yellow Convict Breeding

Well Today I found that my second Yellow convict pair had a fry too. There are like 100-200 little Yellow Convicts swimming around the tank. These guys are very good at hiding their eggs. Both of these Yellow Convict pairs managed to fool me.

Its pretty easy to breed these days. Find a male and female and put them in a tank with few things like clay pots so they can hide and also hide eggs. You will see fry within 2-4 weeks. They can be aggressive towards everyone in tank so better breed Yellow convict in a separate tank. Like most of other Cichlid kinds they are good parents. Both stand guard egg and then fry.
