Betta food Pellets and Flakes

Betta food Pellets and Flakes
A blue and red Betta

If you are wondering what you should feed your  Betta fish then there are soo many things you can find at home which you can feed them. Like tiny raw tuna, chicken or beef pieces ( smaller than their mouth) or hard boild egg york. even dead mosquitoes. But the problem is you can't use these things too often because theose can cloud up or dirty your tiny Betta tank so easily. Also to keep their great color and also to provide nutrition you need to give them some kind of quality pellet food. So here are several types of Betta Pellet food you can consider.

Hikari Betta Bio-Gold is the best Betta pellet food I can recommend for Betta fish. This is a high quality food which would provides your Betta with optimal nutrition. Also Hikari Betta Bio-Gold is a powerful color-enhancing diet provides your Betta with optimal nutrition in a floating pellet that won't cloud the water in your Betta bowl. It's specially formulated for betta fish, with a superior protein source. If you have only one Betta fish don't buy bigger packets.
Ingredients are Fish meal, wheat flour, milt meal, Antarctic krill meal, gluten meal, clam meal, cuttlefish oil, soybean meal, enzyme, garlic, monosodium glutamate, dl-methionine, vitamin A supplement, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, menadione sodium bisulfite (source of vitamin K), thiamine mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, calcium pantothenate, biotin, inositol, niacin, choline chloride, folic acid, l-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate (stabilized vitamin C), manganese sulfate, zinc sulfate, ferrous s.

Hikari Betta Bio-Gold Baby Pellets is just bit smaller than Hikari Betta Bio-Gold pellets. If your Betta fish are still young and small you can feed them this. Its the same thing as Hikari Betta Bio-Gold, Completely balanced diet with color enhancers specially formulated for bettas. Hikari Betta Bio-Gold enhances the natural brilliant colors of your betta and will help prevent color fading. It’s a completely balanced diet with vitamins added for healthy growth, including vitamin C which is important in reducing stress and fighting off disease. The floating pellets will never cloud the water and disperses evenly. Dispenser package allows you to control the amount of food you feed, helping to prevent overfeeding.

Hikari is a world famous aquarium product brand for high quality fish food. Fish love Hikari products those provide all nutrition fish want. Personal reminder for you, always test how many pellets your Betta eats and don't put more than that. Also you don't need to feed Adult betta fish more than 2 times a day.

Tetra Betta Floating Mini Pellets is another good product which does not cloud water. This is a specialized combination of small, thin red flakes and freeze dried brine shrimp is formulated to maximize acceptance and intake. Tetra is another brand which famous for their quality. Betta fish love this red color flakes too.

This product is one of the best seller Betta food items at Amazon and has received lots of postive feedback from users. You can buy it in various sizes and also this will enhance colors of your Betta fish too.  One of the boggest reasons they love it because it doesn't cloud water and make it dirty.

These three are the products I personally used and liked because my Betta fish love it. There are other well known Betta food products like Aqueon Betta Food and New Life Spectrum Betta Formula Semi-Float Pellets etc. It's better feed them with one of these high quality products as their main meals.

There are other things you can offer as treats time to time like Freeze Dried Bloodworms, Hard boiled egg york, little bits of minced chicken, beef or tuna. Betta fish love all these things. Betta are not exactly highly active fish. So they are not very keen on food like Goldfish. So they need only very little food and twice a day is more than enough. Also smaller your tank less active they would be.
